Talking to my records

I hereby nominate this post over at Spoilt Victorian Child for post of the week. Most semi-serious writers--bloggers or otherwise--have had pseudo-conversations like this with the subjects we were supposed to be writing about. It's part procrastination, and part motivation. I'm currently conversing with Dead Meadow AND Black Mountain, both of which I'm supposed to interview for the upcoming issue of Skyscraper. I'm regretting signing on for the Black Mountain article, mostly because I just don't think I'm all that interested in their debut record.

Anyway, I have an entire weekend of conversing to look forward to. At least neither group is as demanding as George Jones was on this poor bloke.
